What is happening at Ft. Bliss Veterans Cemetery?

Please bring this topic to American attention because they are planning

to do this to other Veteran Cemeteries.

Due to the lack of information available on the internet, I am proud to bring you a forum

for us Veterans of the United States of America. We also, are proud to welcome those

currently serving our country as well. While there are a few sites with vast and great

knowledge, I find that most people have a hard time navigating it. That's why there is

nothing like a forum for discussing any problems or questions about what coverage or

programs are available for us Veterans. There are areas exclusively for getting and

giving help, there are also some other areas for just hanging out and talking about

current events, or anything for that matter. We also have a gallery where you can share

deployment, service, and random photo's with each other. I really hope we are able to

get help to those that need it. Some of us have had some pretty bumpy roads.

This is a very nice glimpse on med-evacing wounded service members from Iraq

and Afghanistan. If only many Americans better understood what the military does and

how we are structured to do it. I encourage you to pass this along so more people can

see the care given to bringing home combat wounded troops.

Military service members can receive expedited processing of disability claims from

Social Security. Benefits available through Social Security are different than those from

the Department of Veterans Affairs and require a separate application. The expedited

process is used for military service members who become disabled while on active

military service on or after October 1, 2001, regardless of where the disability occurs.
