Membership in the Sons of the American Legion shall be
limited to the male
descendants or stepsons of either a member of the American Legion
or of a
deceased member of the Armed Forces of the United States who served
during:
April 6, 1917 to
Nov 11, 1918 (World War I)
Dec 7, 1941 to
Dec 31, 1946 (World War II)
June 25, 1950 to
Jan 31, 1955 (Korean War)
Feb 28, 1961 to
May 7, 1975 (Vietnam War)
Aug 24, 1982 to
July 31, 1984 (Lebanon/Granada)
Dec 20, 1989 to
Jan 31, 1990 (Operation Just Cause – Panama)
Aug 2, 1990 until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the
government of the United States (Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm)
Service of a minimum of one day during these date ranges is required.
To include those men who of their own right are eligible for
membership in the
AMERICAN LEGION.
Dual Membership is allowed and helps both organizations.
Squadron 2 Dues are due on July 1st, every year.
$12.00 for members under 21 years or dual member.
$15.00 for members over 21 years.
