District #2 Poppy Princesses Alexis Lunceford & Dorothy Hanley led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag after distributing American Legion Auxiliary poppies, our Veteran made flower of remembrance to all.

American legion post #113 sponsors an essay contest at Elgin school. District #2 Auxiliary President Andrews and Poppy Princess Alexis Lunceford attended this Veterans tribute program and Alexis offerred poppies to all as that post does not have an Auxiliary.Platoon Sgt. 1st class Angel Perez is leaving shortly for a 2nd tour of Iraq.
